If you plan on using the AC all the time, I would suggest removing and
turning off the battery. Otherwise the natural drain on the battery
will cause it to be cycled by the AC charger. My battery-removed TP
has been on AC for months without problems. Be sure to get a good
surge suppressor, by the way.
