I ordered a NiMH new battery from Index Computer for $115
plus $8 shipping. I was told they were in stock and would
ship one that night. Two weeks later I received a NiCad
battery plus a receipt for a NiMH. I called and asked for
a correction. I was told they were out of stock on the
NiMH (lie no. 1). Seems they should have told me that the
day I handed over my credit card number. Then they told
me not to worry the NiCad would work fine in my TP701
(lie no. 2). If they wanted to sell me a NiCad, they
should have adjusted the invoice. If I wanted another
NiCad I would have ordered it. Finally, I pushed the
envelope and suggested since they were obviously covering
somebody's ass, they should let me ship it back COD.
Not their policy...
Lost my interest there.
You, Index, or anyone else can flame me - go ahead.
Even if they credit my card, they were unethical in
my case. I wouldn't buy from them.
