I noticed a few other people in the various lists mention that they had a thinkpad 755 that had problems with the apm not working correctly in both win95 and linux. I too had the same problems and just fixed it. For fun I decided to reset all my bios settings and redo my configuration. I believe that going into the ez setup menu (power on while holding down the F1key) I chose to reinitialize the bios to the default settings. Lo and behold, now my 'pad hibernates, suspends, and the whole nine.
