hibernate/modem

I'm using a 750C and a megahertz x-jack 33.6 pcmcia fax modem, win95.
Problem: If I gointo hibernate mode (function F12) and then resume, the
modem will not work untill I do do a complete shutdown and restart.

Any help or comments will be appreciated.
