I liked the ThinkPad's keyboard because it was standard, and didn't have the escape key where F12 is, or 
PGUP where the left shift is, like other notebooks.

On my older 355c, that keyboard was made by Lexmark, and it had a solid feel.  I think that my 701's is made 
by KeyTronic.
