Infrared to Psion Series 3c?

I use a Thinkpad 760LD and am thinking about purchaing a Psion Series 3c.

Can I transfer information between the two computers via the infrared ports, eg appointments etc in MS Outlook on the Thinkpad to the diary on the Series 3c?

If anyone has any experience or opinions please could they pass them on.
