It is more a matter of what the internal busses are. It doesn't mean
that they ever have to break out into the familiar full sized slots and
cards you would normally asociate with PCI. Many full sized desktops have
several PCI devices built into their motherboards, so why not do it with
compact portables? Some sources have claimed that while the TP560 is
mostly PCI, that the video system is attached via a VLB bus. I wish I
could remember where I saw that info though. I have no idea how valid it
is right at the moment.
