Hello, I bought a QuickCam thinking it would be the easiest to plug in to my laptop.. my mistake! I'll have to give up my parallel port and buy a Y cable for the kbd/mouse ps2 port so it gets the power to be detected... Is there any other similar camera I could use for simple videoconferencing that would not involve a PCMCIA video capture card? If anyone can point me to a store in the Montreal/Sherbrooke area, I would be most pleased. Is there any camera that does not neet to be plugged in in the keyboard port to get its power? one that won t take the parallel port to itself? Thansk for any hints on this.
