A friend of mine lost use of his modem and asked me to submit this inquiry
for him. He inquired on this discussion group about adding and external
modem to his thinkpad. someone replied to him and when he made the
recommended changes he lost use of his modem. Any help will be appreciated.
Since he can't get on the internet just email to me and I will call him by
phone.
 He has a 755cse and is using windows95
