The Panasonic KXL-783A uses a non-standard SCSI-2 interface. It
works fine under Windows, but I couldn't get it to work under
Linux. I even tried it with the Adaptec PCMCIA SCSI card (said
to be compatible with just about everything SCSI under the sun)
and it didn't work. Furthermore, I talked with a couple folks
about this and found that David Hinds (author of Linux's PCMCIA
drivers) stated the drive is nonstandard and will probably never
work under Linux.

Avoid it unless you never plan to leave Windows.
