I sure want to thank everyone for the fast response. I guess I am a newbie, I sure felt dumb about the mouse port. I knew it was ps2 and not serial. but nooooo that wouldn't stop me from thinking it should work. I foundthe nine pin connector. hooked up the camera. Hey..it is recognized. I previewed the pictures, but for some reason it won't let me save them. I got enough hard drive space. I reloaded the software thinking maybe I screwed up. same malfunction. it says cable not connected, camera not on, or batteries low. going out today for new batteries. they were the same ones that came with the camera. Who knows how long they were in the case before I bought it. any other ideas? bruce Hildreth behildre@cpis.net
