The AMD has 16k cache. This helps out a lot. But you are correct that the
processor is running on the 597 32 bit bus. But, if you are looking for
faster performance without the expense of a new system, this is really the
only way to go. Of course, the decision to upgrade is always a personal one.
We have found that our clients that have had the upgrade performed on their
system love it to death. If anyone is interested in more information or

has the 16K cache. Doesn't the AMD have only 8K? It seems that since the
AMD is still only 32 bit, it
wouldn't have as much an impact on total system performance as the Pentium.
Am I correct everyone?
