I had an interesting conversation with the Easyserv technician last Thursday night before I got my ThinkPad the next afternoon, and in our conversation, he said that after peeling away at labels, and looking at documents or whatever, he said that *all* the notebook hard drives are made by Toshiba. I find this hard to believe, except for those drives that say MADE FOR IBM, rather than MADE BY IBM, which would be misleading if it were in fact made by Toshiba.
