I don't know about Thinkpads in particular but in gerneral when upgrading machines to Win95 you should take note of the following just before the upgrade/installation: 1. Disable virus checking in startup files, and CMOS setting 2. Remove unnecessary drivers from config.sys & autoexec.bat 3. Scan hard disk for virus 4. Check hard disk for errors, bad sectors 5. (optional) Run a defrag. software on your hard disk 6. Disable power management in CMOS and startup files Hope it helps. KianHock ---------- > From: David G.
