Also, is there any software that can update any of IBMs' drives' firmware? I have an IBM 2.5" drive (from my dead 355C) that is currently used in a custom system I built myself, and it only works as the second drive, but not the first. The first drive is of the same series, except it's a 340MB from a 755CE. I was just wondering, because this system has no case at all, and it's quite risky just stacking the floppy, CD-ROM, and these two hard drives on top of the power supply, because accidents DO happen.
