This is a common mistake. The Mobile Module is *not* for user
upgrades, it's so manufacturers can release a faster chip without a
lot of retooling or a complete redesign of their models. Currently,
when Intel releases a new chip, it's back to the drawing board for all
of their customers.
So far, every company releasing a notebook using this design has
been non-commital about performing upgrades for customers, or making
them available (Gateway's 9100 uses it, and they've said no upgrades).
While I'm sure 3rd party developer's will come up with something, it
remains to be seen if any of the laptop makers will encourage this, as
it's definitely going to cut in to sales of future models.
