Just looked at the web page. The unit in question is the Dock I (3545)
which should be compatible with any 750/755/760 and some 3xx series. It
is -not- compatible with a 701. The adaptor 701 kit is for the Dock II,
(3546) which be somewhat larger, mate. I can't say too much about the
dock I as I don't have one, but I do have a fully decked out dock II I
share with my wife (her 701cs, my 760el) So I can answer questions about
that. (that and the 701 adapter info explicitly excludes the dock I)

The Dock I has some nice things though, besides cheap, it is portable.
(built in handle?) Also check Onsale, as they have had -both- dock versions
within the last month or so. (price for the -I about the same or somewhat
higher, the -II has been going for around $300 last I checked.)

Any questions feel free to email me at alaska@mitvma.mit.edu

p.s. note there are also 2 selectadocks which are newer tech, I have
very little clue about those. I do know the upper end one has something
like 3 PCI slots.....I think only compatible with 760, maybe 755. The
IBM website would have more info.
