I am very happy with my USR/Megahertz XJEM3336. It is a combination
Ethernet and 33.6 Kbps modem on a single PCMCIA card. The Ethernet
connection is via a short cable to either a twisted pair or thin-net
connector. The modem connection is a pop-out RJ-11 connector. I'm using it
on a TP 755CE under Windows 95. I disabled the Mwave modem capabilities and
have been very happy modemming ever since.

Can't help you, there. All I know is that my business partner is using a
modem-only Megahertz card in his Apple Newton Messagepad 2000 and is happy
with it.
