These laptop pads pretty much fix that, I never could go bare though, had
to at least have a hardbound book protecting me :)

For my 755, the wrist rest was perfect, it was just the right height
(thicker than most wrist rests I've seen because it was made for a laptop,
not a keyboard), and the 755's keyboard goes right up to the edge of the box.
For my 560, the wrist rest is useless, but since the 560 doesn't have feet
in the back to elevate the box, I turn the whole pad around with the wrist
rest pointing down on the back edge, this puts the machine at a more
comfortable angle, still protects the heat, and even keeps less surface
area on my lap than before (I even got an extra one for the office).
