RE: LCD on TP560
Visit :
http://www.tridentmicro.com/trident/html/Drivers/Utilities.htm
download the chipnumb.exe it will tell you what you have.
IBM's info is suspect; it says I have a lovely 9382 on my 760E....
I don't.....sigh.
Note : the 9382 is the same as the 9385 other than TV output support.
The 9320 is a much lower end chip.

Subject: LCD on TP560
Greetings...
I a hopeing someone might know which video subsystem is used in the 560.
The online stuff from IBM says its the IBM ThinkPad(Cyber9385/82) PCI, but
the default driver installed by the Video Features utility was the IBM
ThinkPad(Cyber9320) PCI under win95. Using the 9320 works ok, I think its
the same as the 365. The 9385/82 is the same as the 760's.
What this all leads up to is I need to know exactly which one, or which
other TP's have the same subsustem because I need to use the correct driver
under Solaris. Sun does not yet explicitly call out support for the 560.
TIA
Dennis
