Hi,
I recently purchased a used Thinkpad 755CE with 10.4" active matrix
screen. Unfortunately, the colors on the screen are off shade. For
example, common grey title bars on Windows95 is somewhat pink! And,
the green/jade color on the blank desktop background on Windows95 is
bright blue. I ran a diagnostics on the laptop and I don't get any
hardware failures. My guess is something is wrong with the electronics
in the display and not the video card. I attched an external monitor and
the colors seem fine on the monitor. So, I am pretty sure the something is
wrong in the LCD assemply. Any guesses at what the problems are? Better
yet, suggestions for solution? Anyone have a broken LCD with working
assembly for sale?
Thanks,
Henry
