Also, I understand there are some hassles involved in getting
Linux working on the 560, including afterboot patching of the
display and floppy drivers (e.g., running cy9382 in startx),
and kernel to make features like suspend/resume work.
What is this cy9382 program? Is there something like it for the
755cx, which uses a WD chipset? The only way I know to put the
755cx screen in 800x600 mode is to run the ps2 utility under dos,
then boot linux using bootlin; this is a pain. Anyone know a way
to set the screen mode under linux these days? Thanks.
