Thanks to all who replied to my cry for help.
Unfortunately, I got this error message:

[C:\]fdisk /newmbr /disk:1
SYS0850: The MBR was not replaced.  Error 3 has occurred.

[C:\]help sys0850

SYS0850: The MBR was not replaced.  Error %X has occurred.

EXPLANATION: An error was detected when trying to replace the Master
Boot Record on the fixed disk.

ACTION: Record this message number along with the error code and
contact your service representative.
