They come with OS/2 drivers, so I suppose they do.  I'm pretty sure they
work with Linux too (at least, when I was web-surfing for product info, I ran 
across a discussion of how to get them to work with Linux).

As for price: too expensive.  My 4x was a refurb for $150, but the place
where I bought it has no more.  I think the newer 8-20x CAV versions retail
for several hundred.

Too bad IBM/us thinks that 3-month-old options should be expunged from *their*
site!
