I'm not terribly surprised to hear that the preload won't work on my unit; as I've posted here before, IBM seems to have the philosophy that any option, once superceded, is not worthy of further notice, and in fact should be expunged from discussion ASAP. Fortunately, they haven't applied this philosophy to the computers themselves. Yet. - David
