Re: [TP560] LCD Defect (was "Memory compatability")
I never had the display looked at, and odds are that it will never
get fixed now; I dropped the laptop and chipped the case, so I expect
IBM to insist any problems are on my end :-(
On the plus side, the defects I mention still aren't noticeable (I
have to look for them to see them) and haven't affected my enjoyment
of the 560 in the least so far.
I've never had occasion to attach the devices you mention, since I
don't own any of those things - I'm a laptop-only person. Perhaps
someone else on the list will chime in? I will say that the
performance is superior to a Pentium 60 (they made them that slow?)
without a doubt, despite the lack of L2 cache.
