Hi,
I have been unable to figure out the error beeps I get when I have a 
battery in my 701C.  Before the machine even POSTs I get three short beeps 
and it apparently powers off.  I get the same result with a NiMH and a 
NiCad battery.  It boot fine with the AC adapter and no battery.  My guess 
would be that both batteries are completely dead and can't be charged, but 
I hope I'm wrong!  Anyone have any knowledge of this particular error code?
