Just read the editorial on your site Emanuel and I'll tell you, you're
really nailin' it. My 701C was my "daily driver" until about six
months ago when I got the urge to build the P133 desktop, with Win95B.

Couple of weeks ago - I realized I wasn't all that happy using it and
pulled the old 701C out. I realized at that time that for all the
stuff I use, the 701C was just right. A little slow perhaps in
comparison to the P133, but it eats up almost no desktop space in my
apartment. It runs MS-Office Professional, Agent, Netscape and Aldus
Pagemaker 6.0.

Like you - I was on the "hamster wheel", buying new stuff and always
looking for the latest and best. I know the 701C won't last forever,
but the great IBM warranty still runs to this September. Maybe then
I'll look for something else, then again, maybe not. The most used
program on this machine is Agent (for mail and news) and the 701C
doesn't strain with running it.

Be sure to let us know how the "retro" to 3.11 goes.
