Geesh - offline for just 2 days, and my mbox has 200 messages, many of
interest to me, some even with my name mentioned!

The 'features' program that comes preinstalled on the 560 is 16 bit, and
*should* work in 3.1, though I wouldn't swear to it. I do know that the IBM
website *does* have a W3.1-compatible features program. For that
matter, there's almost nothing you can do with features that you can't
do with the DOS PS/2 program (also preinstalled on the machine).

Now, a question: are you hoping to keep W95 and dual-boot with W3.11?
This could be a problem - W95 OSR2 is known-troublesome with dual
booting. I think this is discussed extensively on either the W95 FAQ or
the 'windows 95 annoyances' website, I can't recall which.

Incidentally, for those who missed an older post of mine, the newest
version of features for W95 on the IBM site is apparently pure 32 bit.
I haven't installed it yet. (This is for several thoinkpads, not just
the 560.)
