Hello all: I posted a question a couple of weeks back asking whether anyone knew what to do about stiff and noisy hinges....as nobody responded I called IBM (after first trying the email where they said call service)and asked whether there was an approved lube procedure etc. Father IBM says it's EasyServ time. Ugh. I have been concerned as the hinge is getting stiffer and noiser (sounds like the door to the haunted house)and I fear what wear is going on inside. They are also going to look at my mushy but functional left trackpoint button which is also not user servicable. As this is my first time with service is there anything I should know about the process? They did say to take the extra memory out. Bryan
