Thanks.  It's definitely not the incoming/outgoing call thing,
since the modem isn't connected.  It may be waking up to hibernate
and having the hibernation fail, as someone suggested.  I don't
have a hibernation file or partition or whatever else you need to
set up.  Anyone know how to turn off the 30-minute-hibernation-wakeup?
