Well, now that everybody mentions it, I do recall people mentioning that an updated DIMM holder was made available a while back. I double-checked the BIOS update information that I was thinking of: the most recent version (2.01) claims that this problem is fixed: - (Fix) Hangs during Operating System boot when 2 Memory DIMMs are installed on 120MHz/150MHz models. So, to be safe, presumably one needs both the updated DIMM adapter and the latest BIOS. tim
