NT on a 701CS

I'm getting a new hard drive for my 701CS and I would like to install
Windows NT on my old drive.  I have a panasonic 2X PCMCIA CD-ROM.  Any
hints on how to install NT on this machine?  I made one attempt but it
never found my CD-ROM.  I haven't done too much reading on installing NT
yet.  The copy I have came bundled with Visual C++ and has no
documantation.  How do I get it to recognize I guess the PCMCIA
controller card first, then my CD-ROM so it can continue the install?  I
think the PCMCIA card that comes with the CD-ROM drive is a fujitsu SCSI
card but NT doesn't list it as an option and the floppy that came with
it doesn't seem to contain any drivers that NT recognizes.  I guess I
should probably check the Panasonic site.
Any steps in the right direction would be appreciated.
