They seem to be rather bad at the moment.
There's a Linux PCMCIA Web page
(http://hyper.stanford.edu/HyperNews/get/pcmcia/home.html) that has a list of
supported cards (file SUPPORTED.CARDS, it is also contained in the pcmcia package).
According to this list, there are only 2 supported Fast Ethernet cards at the moment:
- Linksys EtherFast 10/100
- Xircom CreditCard CE3
and there's no work on 3c575 so far.

You should have v2.9.12 of the pcmcia package if you want to use the xircom. I had
lots of problems before. Even now it is not very fast compared to the Intel
EtherExpress Pro 100B I use in the desktops.

But the xircom is the only choice for Linux and OS/2 users.

Hint for german users:
Falls jemand einen Großhändler braucht, bei dem man die Xircom bekommt, bitte per
EMail anfragen.
Falls jemand einen Händler braucht, bei dem man die Xircom bekommt, am besten mich
fragen. :-)
