RE: need 701 hard drive
Hi Linda,
I believe that any hard drive that is a 2.5" form factor, standard notebook
IDE interface, and no more than about 12.7mm high will fit into the caddy
that holds your current drive. You can find such drives all over the place
in capacities up to 5GB (or maybe more now), at prices from the sublime to
the ridiculous. Good luck!

Subject: need 701 hard drive
Does anyone have any idea where I'd buy a larger internal hard drive
for my 701? I've got the 540, but I'd ideally like one that's at
least 1gig (which I realize wasn't made by IBM) or, if I can't find
that, an IBM 720.
Thanks for any help --
Linda
