memory and screen

Did a quick test to see if it was as simple as a case of bad memory
in my 701C (don't I wish)...
Swapped my old memory in and rebooted the machine, but was able to 
quickly provoke it into the white screen of death.  So now its off
to ezserve.  I will post a note when I hear what they find.
