I'm not sure about the terminology. My Handbook is in german.
"Suspend mode" is what you get when pressing Fn+F4 or closing the lid, right?
Hibernation is Fn+F12, but that's disabled here.
What's the name of the mode you get by pressing Fn+F3?
In my case the TP was *not* in suspend mode. I saw the login prompt and not a black screen as
usual.

Yes, I updated some weeks ago because I consider upgrading to a 5 gig HD.

No, it's still TP Features 3.57, but the newer versions are only different in that they
support the 770.
I did not install Plug'n'Play for PCMCIA since it works with NT's built in services.
