I recently bought a 40Mb IBM PCMCIA HDD to use as storage for large Power Point presentation file thinking that I would have less compatibility problems with IBM than other manufacturers. It installed in my 701 running Win95 fine and the O/S recognized the devise, but apparently no drivers are loaded so I don't get an icon and am unable to access the drive. IBM says that the devise has been withdrawn and there are no drivers available for it to operate under Win95. So am I just out of luck? Or do some of the other list members have come across a solution. As these units seem to be appearing on various auction at reasonable prices, I was hoping to test this one with the intention of getting several more.
