Possbile, you should let the unit sit (in a dry environment) for about 4
days (with some of that packing stuff that absorbs moisture), by then
all moisture should have evaporated

umm.. I imagine there is a schematic somewhere on IBM's web site that
shows a parts build for the unit.  This could help.
