Sorry to clue you in Paul, but most of us ARE getting paid to do just that.
My company dictates the policy and if you want to remain gainfully
employed you comply. I have more latitude than most here since I'm
a system administrator but that really is not the point.

This is 100% true, period.

We are in the process of getting rid of all traces of OS/2.
I know some ISP's that run Linux but why on Earth would I run my
financial company on a freeware os? If a critical server drops I need
parts and services NOW. That's one reason I'm sending this out on a
760E, we leverage off an IBM support contract. We also leverage off
Hewlett Packard for Unix servers and software.
I've run linux and I prefer hpux over it.
