No ThinkPad machine yet. I want to choose one of the models in the
next days --if not hours!--
I've subscribed to the list to read and learn before deciding.
> how it's configured (how much memory/disk,
TBD (To Be Decided) hopefully after reading the gurus discussions in
this list.
> what accessories, etc.),
One external accessory I'll need to use is a Zip 100 drive, parallel
port model.
> and what operating system(s) you are using.
I'll probably have to get Windows 95 although I'm (still?) a command-
line/no-mouse person.
I probably would like to run alternative operating systems such as
Linux --in fact I got info about this list from a Linux list--
QUESTION: I just saw a recent posting in the first batch I got from
the list -I think it was from 'dewar' comments about the 770
resolution/size/brightness. I also need a screen with such
characteristics. The specs I saw on line, posted by different vendors
are not clear. Can you please comment on:
a) are all 770 machines xga, i.e., both the 13in and the 14in screens ?
b) how 'different' are the 14 in from the 13 in screens ?
c) which size of screen did you get?
Thanks in advance.
