Shows a successful boot.  Evidently something is hanging after 'official'
startup but before cursor control is handed back to me.  I suppose I could
try deleting programs from the start directory and the run-once part of the
registry one-by-one...

What I'd really like to know if this is caused by anything machine-specific
(like a bad interaction between the 560's video drivers and IE4).  I don't
think I ever tried to boot the 560 in safe mode before installing my current
glut of software.
