This seems a bit off topic for TP, but I am reporting OS/2 performance
on TP, so I guess it is OK :-)

I just want to note that HPFS386 makes a HUGE difference to performance
on a machine with decent memory (I have 140 megs and use a 50 meg disk
cache). It's night and day. FOr example, linking the compiler I am working
on (GNAT, an Ada 95 compiler with a very nice OS/2 port), used to take
90 seconds with HPFS and a maximum sized cache. It now takes 4 seconds.
