Just as long as the device supports different non-standard IRQs, you should have no problem.

For example, I was able to configure my Home & Away under Warp 3 and 4 for IRQ 11.
If the driver supports it, you can do that to avoid conflicts.  And if you had a Microchannel
machine like the 700 or 720, you could have up to 8 COM and LPT ports.
