RE: 701 footpad problem
Hi,
I've just decided to remove the remaining three footpads after the front
ones had migrated and were standing out over the front edge. One of
the feet had disappeared a while ago (I think the one near the modem),
and the others started creeping since I've left the laptop on 24/7. It has
probably heated up a little since I put it on a mousepad to dampen the
noise (I have a resonating desk) - this has reduced the times that the
modem hangs up on me at 19.2, though.
Question: does anyone know what best to remove the residual adhesive
with?
Incidentally, I don't have a Spark-Book. If I want to get flames or start
a fire, I use a Match-Book, or I rub sticks together the old-fashioned way.
Greetings, Axel
