Another question....does it boot up in SAFE mode???
Back to the original question....
Assuming the ThinkPad runs properly from the smaller drive.
The easiest way is to install the 2nd drive (make it bootable first) in the
2nd bay (where the floppy is) and xcopy32 the contents across (you may need
an adapter for this...can't remember).
I've done many of these hard drive upgrades....
Several months ago I posted a couple of messages on this topic, under
various conditions, so they should be in the archives.
If not, let me know and I'll try to dig them up.
