Okay Jane, since you had it for evaluation (what were the circumstances
for which you were evaluating it?), you can now report to us everything you
have to say about it!

I have to be honest--after getting the NEC Versa 5000 series (which I'm
selling now, after using it a week...nice machine, but its not quite on par
with ThinkPads, and the touchpad drove me crazy), which is quite close to
the 600 in main features and size/weight, my TP 560 seems to be quite
feathery by comparison.

I *want* a 600...but the more I go back to using my 560 while the Versa
5084X is packed up for sale, the more I realize how much that extra 1" in
depth, 1/4" in thickness, and nearly 1 lb. of weight makes a difference.

If they'd just give me an XGA screen...perhaps even keeping it at 12.1"
(ideal if they could give me 13.3") on a 560, I'd buy one of them instead.
As it stands, I've got my eye on a 600, whenever the price comes down from
out of the stratosphere...

So I'd like to read your review...
