Hi,
I've had my TP 365XD DSTN for about 18 months now, mostly running Linux.
Originally, I couldn't get more than about 1h of battery life even
with light duty (no floppy, CD access, PC cards) and APM enabled. Now, after
about 1 month of disuse, I only get 30 min. which is not acceptable.
Charging time seems a bit fast - maybe 20 minutes.
Does this sound like
a) bad battery (NiMH)
b) bad charger
c) bad sensor
?
If b) or c), does anyone have any idea what IBM is likely to charge to
fix it? If a new battery is the answer, am I likely to beat $110 US
($154 Can.) by much? (That price for an official IBM one.)
Thanks!
Steve
