Re: hibernation in 560c



Perhaps you enabled FAT32 option when you installed/formatted the hard-disk
and - under Win95/OSR 2/FAT32, hibernation file cannot be created, neither
under Win95 GUI (Control Panel/Power Management/Hibernation or
command-prompt session (AUTOEXEC.BAT line  "C:\THINKPAD\PS2 HFILE C").

As I know (on my 760 CD machine it's the same problem since I've installed
Win95 OSR2 + FAT 32). If you reconvert the FAT32 to FAT16 (with
PartitionMagic 3.0 - the only method I know) hibernation file will be
created and Hibernate mode (Fn-F12) will work also.

But I preferred the advantage of the 4K cluster in FAT32 over the
hibernation functions...
