restoring 701 battery gauge??

I've lost the battery gauge in the Windows 95 taskbar and the power
applet in the control panel.  Also, the Fn+F2 battery gauge doesn't work
quite right -- it updates maybe every 20 minutes.

Can anyone help me recover this?  Is there a power.cpl file in the
windows\system directory that I need?
